Terms and Conditions for Lingue

Welcome to Lingue (https://lingue.app), operated by Indie AI Labs. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms.
1. Overview
Lingue is a design studio for App Store and Google Play screenshots. Users can upload app screens and design store-ready screenshots in a visual editor with device frames, fonts, gradients, and backgrounds, localize them into App Store and Play Store languages, version their screenshot sets, and export at exact store resolutions. Lingue also offers optional AI assists for screenshot copywriting and image generation. Users can start with a free trial, after which a subscription is required for continued use.
2. Accounts
To use Lingue, you must register with a valid email address and provide accurate account and, where applicable, payment information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. By subscribing, you agree to pay any applicable fees.
3. Free trial & subscriptions
New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial on either the Starter or Pro plan. A payment card is collected at checkout, with $0.00 due at the start of the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your card is charged for the plan you selected.
Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. We offer launch pricing for a discounted first year to users who subscribe before August 1, 2026; after the first year, the regular plan price applies.
4. Plans, projects, and limits
Each plan includes a set number of screenshot projects and access to specific features:
- Starter: up to 5 projects, the full design editor, all iPhone, iPad, and Android presets, exact-resolution PNG/JPEG export, custom fonts, localization into every App Store and Play Store language, and email support.
- Pro: up to 30 projects, everything in Starter, plus screenshot-set versioning (snapshot, branch, and restore) and priority support.
AI assists (copywriting and image generation) are subject to fair-use generation limits per plan. If you reach your project or AI generation limit, you will need to upgrade or remove existing items to continue. We may adjust limits and features over time, with notice for material changes.
5. AI features
Lingue offers optional AI assists that generate screenshot copy (via OpenAI) and images or backgrounds (via Google's Gemini models) based on the prompts and inputs you provide. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for reviewing AI-generated output before using it. AI output may be inaccurate, generic, or similar to output provided to other users; you should not rely on it as professional advice and must ensure your final screenshots comply with App Store and Play Store guidelines and applicable law. Subject to the terms of our AI providers, you own the output you generate through Lingue, to the extent such output is capable of ownership.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the screenshots, images, fonts, text, and other materials you upload or create in Lingue ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide and operate the service for you, including transmitting AI inputs to our AI sub-processors to fulfil your requests. You represent that you have the necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others. We do not use your private project content to train AI models.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lingue to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates App Store or Play Store policies; to upload malware; to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or to resell or redistribute the service without our permission.
8. Intellectual property
Lingue, including its software, branding, and design, is owned by Indie AI Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or software beyond the right to use the service as intended. Device frames, fonts, and other third-party assets remain subject to their respective licenses.
9. Data collection
We collect account, billing, content, and usage data to provide the service. For details on what we collect and how we use and share it, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-party services
Lingue relies on third-party providers including Supabase (infrastructure, database, and storage), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI copywriting), and Google (AI image generation). Your use of the service is also subject to the relevant terms of these providers, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
11. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If you cancel, you remain responsible for any amounts incurred during the current period.
12. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indie AI Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Updates to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.
